This year we are celebrating 100 years of God's faithfulness!
On Saturday, June 12th, we enjoyed an anniversary banquet at the West Thunder Community Centre. On Sunday, our morning and evening services fetured Rev. Lance Johnson, Regional Director of FEB Central.
We're also engaged in a special anniversary project - to raise the $177,000 we need to make our church barrier-free by installing a vertical lift in our foyer, and constructing a barrier-free washroom in the basement. We have already raised $60,000. Praise the Lord!
Since Easter, we've been exploring the following questions on Sunday mornings:
- Why am I here?
- How can I know God really exists?
- What proof is there that the Bible is true?
- Isn't it narrow-minded to believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven?
- What happens to me when I die?
- Would a loving God really send people to hell?
- If God is so good, why is there so much suffering?
