The Bend in the
Road
Sometimes we come to life's crossroads, and we view what we think is the end. But God has a much wider vision and He knows that it is only a bend-- the road will go on and get smoother, and after we've stopped for a rest, the path that lies beyond us is often the path that is the best. Let go and let God share your load, and have faith in a brighter tomorrow, you've just come to a bend in the road. ~ David Jeremiah
April 23rd and 24th, The Northwest Women of Grace invite you to participate in the 3rd annual Spring Conference for women: The Bend in the Road.
Your spiritual journey is progressing and then there comes the Bend in the Road. This will be the topic our speaker will share with us, as well as her story.
Our Guest Speaker will be Ann Martin.
Ann makes her home in Sarnia, Ontario with her husband. She
has six children, and three grandsons, one granddaughter, and one on the
way. Ann is someone who can readily speak to the theme topic for this
year having experienced her own bend in the road.

Ann is a registered nurse, but is currently enjoying some time away from nursing. She is involved in women's ministry and worship in her local church. She is also president of the Sarnia Toastmaster's Club, is involved musically in the community and loves to sing and laugh.

NEW THIS YEAR: Workshop Sessions (Please indicate your first and second choices on registration form. Workshops will be filled on first come/first served basis.)
- Prayer Partnerships: Discover an exciting partner based relationship that enhances the prayer life of those involved. Practical guidelines on how to begin and maintain a healthy, effective partnership will be outlined.
- Fitting in Fitness: Quality rather than quantity is the focus of this workshop. Also the elements necessary for maximizing the individual's time available for fitness. Be prepared to have fun. Wearing apparel should include something that allows ease of movement (ie pants and T-shirt) and also a large towel.
- Seniors and their Challenges: Old age has been called "The Golden Years", yet for some this is far from reality. The effects of aging on our minds and bodies or of those that we care for may become overwhelming. In this workshop, we'll look at the burdens and blessings of being and caring for Seniors.
- God's Gift of Freedom: Freedom! What a powerful way to enjoy God's most awesome experience in your life. Exploring the spiritual understanding of the word "submit" will have you begging for more of that with which God wants to bless you.
