to Serve
The church is a body... and every member of the body is gifted to serve.
"For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you..." (2 Tim. 1:6)
We believe that "behind-the-scenes" ministry is just as important as ministry done on the platform. Every Christian has vital roles to play in the Kingdom of God... and, most importantly, through the local church. Quite simply, we need people whose only "ability" is their "availability." It is not even necessary to know what your spiritual gifts are. It is only necessary to be willing to try... and willing to serve.
"Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them." (John 13:14-17)
